We take your privacy seriously. This policy covers all data collection, processing, and storage practices across our Extensions and associated backend services.

When you use our Extensions, we collect the following information:

Property data: Postcode, property type, number of bedrooms, estimated rent or valuation, property condition — submitted when you click "Analyse" on a property page or use the popup tool.
Email address: Optionally provided when you opt in to receive property alerts, valuation updates, or marketing communications.
Google Account information: Your name and email address, obtained via Google OAuth when you sign in to access the Extensions.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

Page URL: The URL of the Rightmove (or other property portal) page you are viewing, to identify the property being analysed.
Usage data: Timestamp of analysis, feature usage patterns (which tools you use and how often).
Technical data: Browser type, extension version, and anonymised IP address (used for rate limiting only, not stored).

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data for the following purposes:

Provide the service: To analyse rental estimates, property valuations, and generate area intelligence reports (schools, yields, comparables).
Improve accuracy: Aggregated rental and valuation submissions help us refine our models and provide better estimates to all users.
Lead identification: Home valuation enquiries may identify potential sellers. We may follow up regarding our property services (only if you have consented via email opt-in).
Communication: If you opt in, we may send periodic emails with market updates, property alerts, or service improvements.
Authentication: Google OAuth is used solely to verify your identity and manage your subscription access. We do not access your Google Drive, Gmail, or any other Google services.

Consent: You explicitly consent by signing in with Google OAuth and accepting this Privacy Policy and Terms of Service during onboarding.

5. Data Storage & Security

Location: All data is stored on our UK-based VPS server (Nuremberg, Germany — EU-equivalent data protection).
Retention: Property data is retained indefinitely to build our rental and valuation datasets. Personal data (email, name) is retained until you request deletion.
Security measures: Encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), API-key authentication for all extension-to-server communication, OAuth token verification, and regular security audits.
No third-party sharing: We never sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their marketing purposes.

6. Google OAuth

We use Google Sign-In (OAuth 2.0) for user authentication. When you sign in:

We receive your name, email address, and profile picture (if available).
We verify the Google ID token on our server to ensure authenticity.
We do not receive or store your Google password.
We do not request access to your Google Drive, Gmail, Calendar, or any other Google service.
You can revoke access at any time via your Google Account permissions page.

7. Mailing List & Communications

By accepting the Terms and Conditions during sign-in, you consent to being added to our mailing list. You may:

Opt out at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email.

Request complete erasure of your data at any time.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the Extension's onboarding screen or by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
